What Is RF Microneedling?
Microneedling on its own penetrates the upper layers of skin with ultrafine needles, triggering the skin’s natural repair process and boosting the production of collagen and elastin—proteins that keep skin smooth and healthy. Potenza RF microneedling combines these benefits with RF energy, penetrating and heating the skin’s deeper layers to create more dramatic results.
Are You a Good Candidate for RF Microneedling?
Patients of all skin types can benefit from Potenza RF microneedling treatments, which can be used on the face and any area of the body. RF microneedling is an excellent option for treating a range of concerns, including early signs of aging caused by sun damage, fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and other blemishes.
Potenza RF microneedling:
- Results in tighter, firmer skin by stimulating new collagen production
- Targets blemishes to create a more radiant complexion
- Heals faster than traditional microneedling treatments
Results following Potenza RF microneedling treatments emerge gradually as the skin’s repair process produces new collagen and elastin. Patients often notice that their skin appears smoother and refreshed within 4 to 6 weeks, with final results appearing about 3 months after the final treatment.
What Happens During a Treatment?
After applying a topical anesthetic cream to numb the treatment area, a provider presses the handheld Potenza device against the skin and moves it across the entire area. With each pass, the device’s tiny needles and RF energy penetrate the skin. Depending on the size of the treatment area, a procedure can take between 30 and 45 minutes. We recommend scheduling an initial series of 3 to 4 treatment sessions about 6 weeks apart, followed by periodic appointments to maintain the results.
